Bogotá, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C., and formerly known as Santa Fe de Bogotá during the Spanish Imperial period and between 1991 and 2000, is the capital and largest city of Colombia. The city is administered as the Capital District, as well as the capital of, though not politically part of, the surrounding department of Cundinamarca. Bogotá is a territorial entity of the first order, with the same administrative status as the departments of Colombia. It is the main political, economic, administrative, industrial, cultural, aeronautical, technological, scientific, medical, educational and aiport center of the country and northern South America.

Cayó ‘Los Seguros’: la banda que torturaba con ácido y machetes para controlar el narcotráfico en Bogotá
banda ‘Los Seguros’ fue desarticulada por las autoridades tras un operativo que permitió la captura de 12 presuntos integrantes en Bogotá, Cúcuta y el departamento de Guainía. La organización es señalada de dedicarse al tráfico de estupefacientes y de cometer actos de tortura para mantener el control interno de la estructura criminal en el sector del Siete de Agosto. La investigación fue adelantada durante un año por la Policía Nacional, en coordinación con la Fiscalía General de la Nación. De acuerdo con las autoridades, la banda ‘Los Seguros’ obtenía rentas ilegales cercanas a los $2,5 millones de pesos diarios mediante la comercialización de marihuana, bazuco, cocaína y otras sustancias estupefacientes. La cabecilla sería alias Marcela, conocida como ‘La Madre’, mientras que su hijo, alias ‘Millos’, habría coordinado las actividades ilícitas junto con otros integrantes de la organización. Durante los procedimientos, las autoridades intervinieron el hotel La Rosa Dorada, señalado de funcionar como centro de acopio de estupefacientes y lugar donde, presuntamente, eran retenidas y agredidas algunas víctimas. Además, se determinó que un gastrobar era utilizado para recaudar el dinero producto de la venta de drogas. En los operativos fueron incautadas más de 22.000 cápsulas de bazuco, más de 3.600 cigarrillos de marihuana, dosis de cocaína y tusibi, seis panelas de bazuco, bolsas con marihuana, dos revólveres calibre 38, munición, teléfonos celulares, una gramera, un DVR y registros contables de la actividad ilegal. Los 12 capturados deberán responder por los delitos de concierto para delinquir y tráfico, fabricación o porte de estupefacientes. Bello tendrá una noche de baladas con Sinfonía del Corazón en las Fiestas del Cerro Quitasol
Fiestas del Cerro Quitasol 2026 continuarán este sábado 18 de julio con Sinfonía del Corazón, un espectáculo que reunirá a músicos, coros y artistas locales para rendir homenaje a las grandes baladas románticas de las décadas de los 60 y 70 en Bello. El evento se realizará a partir de las 4:00 p. m. en el teatro al aire libre de la Casa de la Cultura Cerro del Ángel y tendrá como eje central un gran ensamble sinfónico conformado por la Escuela de Música de Bello. La programación se extenderá hasta las 10:30 p. m. con presentaciones musicales dirigidas a públicos de todas las edades. Como parte de Sinfonía del Corazón, también se llevará a cabo el primer encuentro de la Red Coral «Voces que Inspiran», en el que participarán más de 100 niñas, niños y jóvenes que hacen parte de los procesos de formación artística del municipio. Durante la jornada presentarán el trabajo desarrollado a lo largo del semestre. La programación también incluirá presentaciones del grupo Enclave de Bello, un tributo a Camilo Sesto, Juan Gabriel y Luis Miguel, una muestra de la Rondalla de la Escuela de Música, un concurso de atuendos y otros espectáculos musicales. Con esta iniciativa, la Alcaldía de Bello continúa impulsando el acceso a la cultura y el fortalecimiento de los procesos de formación artística, consolidando a Sinfonía del Corazón como uno de los eventos destacados de las Fiestas del Cerro Quitasol 2026.
