Bogotá, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C., and formerly known as Santa Fe de Bogotá during the Spanish Imperial period and between 1991 and 2000, is the capital and largest city of Colombia. The city is administered as the Capital District, as well as the capital of, though not politically part of, the surrounding department of Cundinamarca. Bogotá is a territorial entity of the first order, with the same administrative status as the departments of Colombia. It is the main political, economic, administrative, industrial, cultural, aeronautical, technological, scientific, medical, educational and aiport center of the country and northern South America.

Liberan a dos menores secuestradas en Antioquia: estuvieron cinco días en poder de las disidencias
autoridades confirmaron la liberación de dos menores secuestradas en Antioquia, quienes permanecieron retenidas durante varios días presuntamente por las disidencias. Las adolescentes, de 14 y 15 años, habían sido secuestradas en el corregimiento de Puerto López, en el municipio de El Bagre, en el Bajo Cauca antioqueño. Su liberación se produjo en zona rural de Remedios, gracias a una operación humanitaria liderada por el Comité Internacional de la Cruz Roja (CICR), que actuó como intermediario neutral. De acuerdo con la información conocida, las menores secuestradas en Antioquia estuvieron en poder del grupo armado durante cinco días. Durante ese tiempo, habrían sido sometidas a interrogatorios, tras ser señaladas de presuntamente colaborar con el Clan del Golfo. Tras recuperar su libertad, las jóvenes fueron trasladadas en un vehículo humanitario hacia un lugar seguro, donde iniciarán el proceso de atención integral y posterior reunificación con sus familias. intensas precipitaciones de la tarde de este martes 17 de marzo provocaron una alerta roja quebrada La Presidenta, a la altura del sector Éxito Poblado. De acuerdo con los reportes, el nivel del afluente aumentó de forma considerable en cuestión de minutos, alcanzando niveles de riesgo alto que podrían derivar en desbordamientos e inundaciones en zonas cercanas. La alerta roja quebrada La Presidenta coincide con las fuertes lluvias que afecta el centro y oriente de la ciudad, así como el municipio de Envigado, acompañado de tormenta eléctrica. 5:06 p.m Se registra tormenta eléctrica en el distrito , con #BomberosMedellin atendemos inundación en glorieta Monterrey.
