Bogotá, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C., and formerly known as Santa Fe de Bogotá during the Spanish Imperial period and between 1991 and 2000, is the capital and largest city of Colombia. The city is administered as the Capital District, as well as the capital of, though not politically part of, the surrounding department of Cundinamarca. Bogotá is a territorial entity of the first order, with the same administrative status as the departments of Colombia. It is the main political, economic, administrative, industrial, cultural, aeronautical, technological, scientific, medical, educational and aiport center of the country and northern South America.

¡Tragedia en Doradal! Un rayo mató 25 cabezas de ganado en medio de un fuerte aguacero
fuerte tormenta eléctrica registrada en el corregimiento de Doradal, en el Magdalena Medio antioqueño, terminó en una emergencia para el sector ganadero, luego de que una descarga atmosférica impactara un potrero y causara la muerte de 25 cabezas de ganado. El hecho se presentó en medio de un aguacero, cuando los animales se encontraban agrupados en el terreno buscando refugio. De acuerdo con el reporte entregado por el propietario de la finca, el rayo habría caído directamente en la zona donde permanecía el hato, provocando la muerte inmediata de varios ejemplares. Así fue la pérdida del hato El balance de animales afectados incluye un toro, nueve vacas, nueve crías machos y seis crías hembras. En imágenes grabadas en el lugar se observa el panorama dejado por la descarga eléctrica, con los cuerpos de los animales dispersos en diferentes puntos del potrero, algunos cerca de cercas de alambre de púas y otros bajo árboles, lugares donde el ganado suele resguardarse durante las lluvias. El propietario relató que este tipo de situaciones representan uno de los golpes más duros para quienes viven de la actividad ganadera, debido al tiempo, esfuerzo e inversión que hay detrás de cada animal. ¡Falsos comparendos con códigos QR en vehículos! Alertan por nueva modalidad de estafa en Bogotá
autoridades en Bogotá encendieron las alertas frente a una nueva modalidad de fraude que estaría utilizando supuestas notificaciones de tránsito con códigos QR dejados en vehículos estacionados en la vía pública. La estrategia ha motivado un llamado urgente a la ciudadanía para evitar caer en engaños y proteger su información personal y financiera. De acuerdo con la Secretaría Distrital de Seguridad, Convivencia y Justicia y el GAULA de la Policía Nacional, los delincuentes estarían dejando en automóviles folletos, volantes o adhesivos que simulan ser comparendos de tránsito. Estos documentos incluyen un código QR que invita a los conductores a consultar o resolver una supuesta infracción. Sin embargo, el objetivo real de esta práctica sería redirigir a las víctimas hacia páginas no oficiales o enlaces fraudulentos diseñados para sustraer datos sensibles, como información bancaria, credenciales personales o archivos privados, que posteriormente podrían ser utilizados para extorsión u otros delitos. Entre ellas se destaca evitar escanear códigos QR desconocidos, verificar cualquier información únicamente en canales oficiales y no ingresar datos personales en sitios web no verificados. También sugieren activar la autenticación de doble factor en redes sociales y correos electrónicos para reforzar la seguridad digital. Recomendaciones y canales de denuncia En caso de sospecha o afectación, las autoridades recomiendan reportar de inmediato cualquier situación relacionada con estafas. Para ello, la ciudadanía puede comunicarse con el equipo AIDE de la Secretaría de Seguridad a la línea (601) 377 95 95, opción 5, extensión 1137, donde se brinda orientación para la denuncia. Según cifras entregadas por la Policía Metropolitana de Bogotá, en lo que va de 2026 se han capturado 29 personas por el delito de estafa, lo que representa un incremento del 7 % frente al mismo periodo del año anterior, en el marco de las acciones contra este tipo de delitos en la capital.
