Bogotá, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C., and formerly known as Santa Fe de Bogotá during the Spanish Imperial period and between 1991 and 2000, is the capital and largest city of Colombia. The city is administered as the Capital District, as well as the capital of, though not politically part of, the surrounding department of Cundinamarca. Bogotá is a territorial entity of the first order, with the same administrative status as the departments of Colombia. autoridades de Cali intensificaron las acciones para esclarecer una serie de robos y actos vandálicos que han afectado la infraestructura semafórica de la ciudad durante los últimos días. Mientras avanzan las investigaciones, una de las hipótesis que se analiza apunta a que algunos de los elementos sustraídos podrían estar siendo comercializados fuera de la capital del Valle del Cauca. La Secretaría de Movilidad confirmó que los casos ya fueron puestos en conocimiento de la Fiscalía General de la Nación y de la Policía Nacional, entidades que adelantan las respectivas investigaciones para identificar a los responsables y determinar si detrás de los hechos existe una estructura dedicada al hurto de estos componentes. Más de una decena de intersecciones resultaron afectadas De acuerdo con el reporte oficial, al menos 18 intersecciones semafóricas presentaron daños o fueron blanco del robo de diferentes elementos durante la última semana. Entre los puntos afectados se encuentran la carrera 23 con calle 25, la calle 70 con carrera 28G, la calle 36 con carrera 32, además de sectores como El Diamante y San Pedro. A estos casos se sumó recientemente un nuevo hecho registrado en un semáforo ubicado sobre la avenida Roosevelt con calle 34, donde fue hurtada la caja de control del dispositivo. Aunque los equipos técnicos y agentes de tránsito han logrado reparar varias de las afectaciones reportadas, algunas intersecciones todavía permanecen fuera de servicio debido a la complejidad de los daños ocasionados. Hipótesis apunta a posible venta de los elementos en otras ciudades Las autoridades indicaron que una de las líneas de investigación busca establecer el destino de los componentes robados. De acuerdo con información entregada por la Secretaría de Movilidad, se analiza la posibilidad de que las piezas estén siendo comercializadas en ciudades como Pereira y Medellín. Asimismo, se investiga si en estos hechos podrían estar involucradas personas con conocimientos relacionados con labores de semaforización, ya sea en Cali o en otras regiones del país. No obstante, el secretario de Movilidad aclaró que, por ahora, esa hipótesis hace parte del proceso investigativo y será el avance de las diligencias judiciales el que permita confirmar o descartar cualquier vínculo con una posible red dedicada a este tipo de hurtos. El funcionario también advirtió que estos robos generan consecuencias que van más allá de la afectación al tránsito. La pérdida de tarjetas electrónicas, muchas de las cuales deben importarse, incrementa los tiempos de reparación y representa un costo adicional para la administración distrital, además de impactar la seguridad vial en los sectores donde los semáforos dejan de operar. Con el propósito de acelerar la identificación de los responsables, las autoridades mantienen vigente una recompensa de hasta cinco millones de pesos para las personas que suministren información útil que permita su ubicación y captura. justicia dejó en firme la condena contra Edison Arley Posada Posada, conocido con los alias de ‘Morcilla’ o ‘Cucaracho’, al confirmar su responsabilidad en el asesinato del exciclista profesional Marlon Alirio Pérez Arango, un crimen ocurrido en octubre de 2024 en el municipio de El Carmen de Viboral, Antioquia. La decisión fue adoptada por la Sala Penal del Tribunal Superior de Antioquia, que resolvió el recurso de apelación presentado por la defensa del condenado y confirmó en su totalidad la sentencia emitida en primera instancia. De esta manera, Posada deberá cumplir una pena de 33 años y cuatro meses de prisión por el delito de homicidio agravado. Además de la condena privativa de la libertad, el Tribunal mantuvo la sanción de 20 años de inhabilidad para ejercer derechos y funciones públicas, dejando en firme todas las determinaciones adoptadas durante el proceso judicial. El crimen y las pruebas que sustentaron la condena La investigación adelantada por la Fiscalía permitió establecer la secuencia de los hechos ocurridos la noche del 3 de octubre de 2024 en la vereda Camargo, sector Los Tanques, zona rural de El Carmen de Viboral. De acuerdo con las pruebas recopiladas durante la investigación, Marlon Pérez compartió varias horas en un establecimiento comercial junto con el hoy condenado y una mujer, donde consumieron bebidas alcohólicas. Posteriormente, los involucrados se desplazaron hacia la vivienda del exdeportista. El fallo quedó en firme Con la decisión de segunda instancia, el Tribunal Superior de Antioquia ratificó la responsabilidad penal de Posada y dio por concluido el proceso de apelación, dejando ejecutoriada la condena impuesta por el homicidio del exdeportista.
